Stanton Optical - Contact Lenses Review from Albuquerque, New Mexico

The worst experience ever, Albuquerque NM. The doctor said I have astigmatism and I'm very sure I don't! After i changed my eye contact to new prescribed ones, I had severe headach and my eyelids hurt me, i turned to be cross-eyed!! I payed about 200$ and I'm not satisfied at all. Next day I had another eye exam at different place and It was just perfect.

JUST TRY TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK. NO PRESCRIPTION.

TRY TO GET THE "GENERAL MANAGER" TO GIVE YOU THE SUPERVISOR'S NAME. MAYBE IT'S TIME TO CALL A TV INVESTIGATOR IN AND THE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE!!! The refund policy is not posted. We asked at the time and they wanted me to return when I got an Rx somewhere else.

Last time I called- 18 days ago- was told I should receive it in a few days. Still hasn't happened.

Worst glasses ever!

Went to Stanton Optical in Evansville, IN. They were running a special buy one, get one.

Ordered two pair and paid $525.00 in advance. They entered my name wrong in their computer. Glasses eventually came in more than a week later than promised. They were poly-carbonate lenses , objects and colors were distorted .

They determined I was non adaptable to poly-carbonate and replaced them with cheaper plastic lenses but would not lower my price. When the plastic lenses came in they were also unacceptable because of the distortion of objects. The General Manager Mike Fowler refused to remake or refund $, told me to go have cataract surgery then come back! (My eye Dr.

Has not recommended surgery.). Tried contacting their customer service at main office. They also refused to help or refund.

So, I have paid Stanton $525 for glasses I cannot wear. BTW - I had an independent confirmation that the glasses were incorrect, also the two pair were no the same prescription,etc.

Stanton Optical Eyeglass Lenses Review

My glasses never changed colors.I paid for transitionals but they are just like you have regular glasses outside and they act like its OK. They won't fix nor give me money back. Please don't get transitionalsfrom them. I have contacted home office and they have not called back yet.

I have been waiting for my glasses for over 3 weeks from the fair oaks. Office in calif.

I have been lied to, hung up on, and 4 times told someone would call me back. No calls were made to me.

Worst customer service ever. Do NOT go to stantion opitcal for any reason.

Terrible, same thing here in my town,Went there for first time to get my new pair of prescription glasses despite the bad reviews not from internet but local people and co-worker STAY AWAY FROM THOSE RUDE MEAN PEOPLE I thought I would prove them otherwise, so i went there anyway....

Oh Man what a mistake..from the beginning it started with someone behind the counter ignoring completely my presence, then asking me what i wanted thought it was rude; optometrist same, they just hate doing what they do, that simple, just for the money, money, money, unhappy rude staff. no I will never ever go back.

Would not take back a bad pair of glasses

Beware of Stanton Optical in Stockton California on Pacific Avenue My wife bought her glasses there in late December and by March the AR coating on her lens which was an added cost starting becoming uneven and caused an eyestrain on her. After bringing this to the attention of Vivi Rivera (not sure if she gave her real name) who was the manager of the business, she blamed my wife for the problem. She said because my wife used a circular motion which cleaning the lens it was her fault, but if we would pay ninety some thing more dollars she would get new lens for my wife because it was under warranty. I told her that I've had glasses for 30 years without a problem, she held her hand up to me without looking at me. These are the instructions on caring for your glasses with AR coating on your lens: How to Care for Anti-Reflective Lenses Since the AR coating is a special coating, caring for these lenses will require a bit more work. For example: NEVER clean lenses dry. Even if you only have water available rinse them off before you clean them so you don’t grind anything into your lenses. Only use a microfiber cloth, never use your tie or your shirt. Put your glasses in their case at night and when you’re not using them. You can put use an eye glass cleaner but skip most household dish soap as it can eat away at the lens. Keep alcohol and acetone away from your lenses, as they can eat away at your lens. These care tips are suggested in an effort to ensure that your AR coating lasts as long as they can. Adding the AR coating to your lenses will not only help you see better, and look better but with the AR coating you won’t have to shade your eyes when you go out into the sun, or squint trying to see through the glare and reflections. Stop by a Stanton Optical location near you to get your eye exam and get your pair of Anti-Reflective lenses! Other than using a microfiber cloth It has nothing to do with cleaning the lens in a circular motion. The sum of this: Stanton Optical up $560.00, we down $185.00 and no eye insurance for two years..BAD MOJO.

Please discontinue your tv ad that is very much a bully ad. In it a woman wearing pink frames is told, "it is hard to look at Jeannie's face". This is so inappropriate and to think it is trying to sell your product. You need a new ad agency. This ad makes me want to run from your business. What are you thinking???

Worst place i've ever been too. The doctor gave me the wrong brand of contacts to the brand he prescribed. And their contacts are over priced i can get cheaper at walmart. Was very dissappointed with their service after charging me over $200 for everything they still want me to pay $60 more for their mistake on brands. DO NOT recomnend this place on corrales

Adds on TV

Nightly we watch "Wheel of Fortune" and "Jeopardy". Your adds appear about 4 times. They are truly terrible and offensive. When we called your Jupiter, Fl. office to express our opinion the young man said we should DVR the programs and fast forward thru your adds! Nice to know how effective your adds are! Terrible PR and truly wish to skip your adds. Must I write 100 words and keep repeating how dislikable your TV advertising is??????????????????????? More and More ill feelings to having to write more. Please pay attention to this complaint and simplify your complaint wordiness and making an even more negative feeling about your company. I will definitely pass this on. Customer service, my foot! Kathy

Crazy appointment scheduling and bad cleanliness practice

I set up an appointment so I didn't have such a long wait. I still ended up waiting well over 2 hours. When I went to prescreen and when I was asked to take my contacts out I wasn't given the option to wash my hands. When I was using the equipment and had to put my face on, it was never wiped off with alcohol. The same thing happened in the office with the doctor. That is unacceptable. When I was given my trial contacts by the doctor, he wasn't going to let me wash my hands and when I asked to wash, there wasn't any soap! The doctor complained about the staff in the front and that they weren't doing their jobs so he couldn't do his. He couldn't even tell me what kind of contacts I have been buying there for the last 4 years. Really? The staff in front has always been very friendly and helpful. They seen well trained and I notice that several of them have been there for quite some time. That is nice to see. I really don't know that I will ever go back again.

Eyeglass Lenses Review

I bought two pair of bifocals from stanton in Knoxville. The untinted pair has a problem with a lens popping out.

I took it back and the fix they did was worse. When I subsequently complained to customer service I spoke to a nice supervisor named Evan. He was to call me bqack the next day. After a week I called again and was subjected to scorn, ridicule and hostility by a number of "customer service" people.

I have names, details, etc. to document the abuse. But I cannot seem to find anyone at Stanton who cares. What next?

I am stuck using dark tinted sunglasses 24 hrs a day because of the corporate intransigence of the C.S. Dept.

at Stanton. Ivebeen promised callback several times but the promise has been ignored.

I went in to Stanton at 50th and Slide in Lubbock Yesterday 2/29/16 and took my sunglasses in because the spring had broke. The tall guy that waited on me said My Warranty had just expired .

He then cleaned the sun glasses Mean time of him being in the back to see if he could fix them any way he came out to see how they fit and was ok . He then took them off my face and put them in my glass case I had setting there. I put on my Clear Glasses so I could see. A few minutes later he came out with my Sunglasses and noticed my clear glasses were dirty .

He they took them to the back and Adjusted them , cleaned them He came out and put them on my face they fit good. The he took them off of my face and put my sunglasses back on me . I then left. I get home out of the sun and put my clear glasses on and a few minutes later .

My Hair hung on my glasses . I took them off and found That HE Broke my clear glasses ear piece. I called the store right at 7p they had already closed. So I got Up early this Morning and went to the store at 5031-50th suite 200 Lubbock TX 79414 and Spoke to Gabby Gonzales the Sales Manager.

She Said I would half top PAY for another frame . I SHOULDN'T HALF TO WHEN YOUR EMPLOYEE BROKE THEM . I want STANTON to Cover the mistake of the Employee.. I Live on $723 a month and cant afford to pay for another $100 frame due to YOUR Employee's Mistake ..

I and NEED them Fixed BY STANTON ASAP .... I Shouldn't half to pay for HIS Mistake .
