Worst glasses ever!
Went to Stanton Optical in Evansville, IN. They were running a special buy one, get one.
Ordered two pair and paid $525.00 in advance. They entered my name wrong in their computer. Glasses eventually came in more than a week later than promised. They were poly-carbonate lenses , objects and colors were distorted .
They determined I was non adaptable to poly-carbonate and replaced them with cheaper plastic lenses but would not lower my price. When the plastic lenses came in they were also unacceptable because of the distortion of objects. The General Manager Mike Fowler refused to remake or refund $, told me to go have cataract surgery then come back! (My eye Dr.
Has not recommended surgery.). Tried contacting their customer service at main office. They also refused to help or refund.
So, I have paid Stanton $525 for glasses I cannot wear. BTW - I had an independent confirmation that the glasses were incorrect, also the two pair were no the same prescription,etc.
Preferred solution: Full refund

I have been waiting for my glasses for over 3 weeks from the fair oaks. Office in calif.
I have been lied to, hung up on, and 4 times told someone would call me back. No calls were made to me.
Worst customer service ever. Do NOT go to stantion opitcal for any reason.

Eyeglass Lenses Review
I bought two pair of bifocals from stanton in Knoxville. The untinted pair has a problem with a lens popping out.
I took it back and the fix they did was worse. When I subsequently complained to customer service I spoke to a nice supervisor named Evan. He was to call me bqack the next day. After a week I called again and was subjected to scorn, ridicule and hostility by a number of "customer service" people.
I have names, details, etc. to document the abuse. But I cannot seem to find anyone at Stanton who cares. What next?
I am stuck using dark tinted sunglasses 24 hrs a day because of the corporate intransigence of the C.S. Dept.
at Stanton. Ivebeen promised callback several times but the promise has been ignored.
STANTON OPTICAL
I went in to Stanton at 50th and Slide in Lubbock Yesterday 2/29/16 and took my sunglasses in because the spring had broke. The tall guy that waited on me said My Warranty had just expired .
He then cleaned the sun glasses Mean time of him being in the back to see if he could fix them any way he came out to see how they fit and was ok . He then took them off my face and put them in my glass case I had setting there. I put on my Clear Glasses so I could see. A few minutes later he came out with my Sunglasses and noticed my clear glasses were dirty .
He they took them to the back and Adjusted them , cleaned them He came out and put them on my face they fit good. The he took them off of my face and put my sunglasses back on me . I then left. I get home out of the sun and put my clear glasses on and a few minutes later .
My Hair hung on my glasses . I took them off and found That HE Broke my clear glasses ear piece. I called the store right at 7p they had already closed. So I got Up early this Morning and went to the store at 5031-50th suite 200 Lubbock TX 79414 and Spoke to Gabby Gonzales the Sales Manager.
She Said I would half top PAY for another frame . I SHOULDN'T HALF TO WHEN YOUR EMPLOYEE BROKE THEM . I want STANTON to Cover the mistake of the Employee.. I Live on $723 a month and cant afford to pay for another $100 frame due to YOUR Employee's Mistake ..
I and NEED them Fixed BY STANTON ASAP .... I Shouldn't half to pay for HIS Mistake .

JUST TRY TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK. NO PRESCRIPTION.
TRY TO GET THE "GENERAL MANAGER" TO GIVE YOU THE SUPERVISOR'S NAME. MAYBE IT'S TIME TO CALL A TV INVESTIGATOR IN AND THE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE!!! The refund policy is not posted. We asked at the time and they wanted me to return when I got an Rx somewhere else.
Last time I called- 18 days ago- was told I should receive it in a few days. Still hasn't happened.
